1.Is TUBEDTV Free?
Yes! Every feature and function you currently see on the site is FREE . TUBEDTV is supported solely by advertising. In the future, TUBEDTV may add paid Premium Services, but all the features and functions you have currently been enjoying on the TUBEDTV site will always remain FREE!

2. How Do I Sign Up?
Goto the Sign Up link at the top of the page and fill out the information accurately. A valid email address is required. Uploading cannot be done until you click a link we send to your sign up email address.

3. How do I Upload?
In order to Upload you must verify your email address by clicking the link we send in an email. Once verified, you can access the upload page and share your surfing videos with the world. On occasion, some emails are not recieved at the email address provided. Users have had problems recieving the verification emails in certain email accounts. You can change your email address in your profile to an alternate email address and re-send the verification email, or create a new account with gmail or hotmail for free.

4. How can I change my email address and/or password?
Change your email address by loging in to your profile and click on 'My Profile'. Enter a new valid email address, type in your password and click 'update.'
To change your password click 'Forgot your password?' in the login box. Enter in the email address that you signed up with and click 'submit.' A new password will be sent to that email address.

Watching Videos
How do I watch a Video?
Click on a video name from any list of videos. The Video player is embedded in the page and will not be affected by pop-up blockers. If you click on a video and nothing happens, please refer to the video help section below.

I'm having problems watching videos.
Please CHECK:
Internet Browser Security Settings
If your Security Setting is set to HIGH, scripting will be disabled and you will not be able to view videos. To check your settings do the following:
Open your web browser and open the Internet Options menu.
Click the Security Tab. Click Custom Level.
Scroll to the bottom of the list that pops up. Under Scripting, make sure everything is ENABLED.
Restart your computer.

Flash Player You need to have Flash Player installed to view videos on TUBEDTV.com. When you install Flash Player make sure that you install the browser plug-in for your browser (browsers are Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Apple Safari etc). This will let you view videos that are embedded in a web page.

Make sure that you have the latest web browser and Flash player software updates installed on your system.

Also, some computer security programs will block access to the site. Open your security software and allow TUBEDTV.com to be accessed on your computer.

How do I browse videos?
TUBEDTV.com distributes videos according to location. The 'Channels' tab will take you to the many regions on the site. Select the location you would like to view and from there you can select most recent, most viewed, most discussed, top rated, recently featured and random.

How do I rate videos?
Login to your account with TUBEDTV.com. The rating system is below the video. You will see 5 empty stars. Carefully point your cursor onto one of the five stars and click it. Note that one star is the first star on the left side, 5th star on the right and 5 stars is the best rating available.

User Submissions
What video file types can I upload?
Supported File Formats: WMV, FLV, MPEG, MOV, MPEG-1 systems, MPEG-2 PS, MPEG-2 TS, ASF, AVI, WAV, Macromedia Flash, Real Audio and Video, Raw AC3, Raw MJPEG, Raw MPEG video, QuickTime, MPEG-4, Raw MPEG4 video, DV, Interplay MVE, WC3 Movie, Cinematic (.cin), and many more. Note: AVI files are HUGE! In most cases only 30 seconds of AVI can reach the maximum upload size. WMV, FLV, and Quicktime files compress much better and the video is still high quality.

Once I upload my video, how long until it's shown on the site?
It depends on the file size uploaded. Usually about 15 seconds per MB. For example a 20MB video file should be converted and ready to play in about 5 minutes.
